Fall wish list

I love dressing for the fall. Boyfriend cardigans, tunic tops, chunky scarfs, boots. I mean what's not to love?

This year's fall wardrobe will be interesting since I sold most of my clothes in my recent garage sale and I'll have just had a baby. So not only do I need to restock my closet a bit, I need to purchase transitional items I can use through several "body phases," will work while nursing, and are comfortable.

Here are a few pieces I've found that fit my criteria, are realistically priced, and will be great with my existing basics: long tank tops from H & M and jeggings from JC Penny.

Because this is a bit more expensive, I may have to use birthday money to purchase.
Just being honest :)

I prob won't purchase this exact piece unless it goes on sale, but I'm sure I can find something similar elsewhere.

I will also get this in black

Target has a boot very similar that I purchased last year for a fraction of the price.
While the boot worked great, the sole did wear out after a few weeks (I had to superglue- classy, I know), so I'm going to use a gift card and sell my other Steve Madden riding boots to purchase these.

It's pretty basic, the look I'm going for, but I'm really excited about it. And, to be honest, even purchasing these few pieces will force me to be creative with our budget. But, I think it's important to invest a little time and money on myself (hair, makeup, wardrobe) for the sake of my sanity and my marriage. All within our means of course.

So for us, because we don't have a bunch of extra money each month, that means I'll have to sacrifice in a few areas. Perhaps that's selling items we don't use, clipping coupons, being creative with our meal planning or entertainment budget, and only having a couple "put together" outfits.

While of course it would be nice to have more money, being forced to budget and have patience is kind of fun. Almost like a game :) And, living in a consumeristic society, I feel as though I'll never have enough. So why not enjoy and be content with what God has given me to work with right now?
